1. This service is at least a 30 minute video or phone call with your lawyer during which:
a. you may ask any questions you have about your document;
b. you may give your lawyer greater context as to why and what you want your document for;
Depending on how you use this call, your lawyer may:
a. answer your questions or give you further direction on the answer;
b. be able to give you guidance on issues you may not have thought about.
If you decide to ask your lawyer to customise your document for your situation after the call. you should use this call to tell your lawyer how you’d like your document to change.
All initial consultations will involve a video or phone call with a director or senior associate and may include attendance by less experienced lawyers, associates, trainees or paralegals at no extra charge. Read more here on team resourcing on your projects.
2. Once you’ve paid for this service:
a. you will receive a short written instruction form through which you might give us better context on your requirements;
b. options for your video or phone call with time slots between 3 business days and one month from the date of your purchase;
c. a calendar invite with a video or phone link – note that we use Teams and you are likely to have to download the Teams app for the call.
3. Note that this initial consultation will not otherwise involve customising or amending the document or the production of any written advice.
